I forgot to check out my business XXImo OV chip card, how do I get a refund?

At uitcheckgemist.nl you can request a refund in three simple steps. Be aware, only if you have not checked in or out in the bus, train, tram and metro.

How does it work?

If forget to checked out, click here. You will need the card number (starts with 3528) and the ‘valid to’ date of the XXImo Business OV-Chipkaart to make a refund. It may take up to 2 weeks before the missed check-out is visible. Here you can easily indicate what the destination has been. After completion you will receive a confirmation by e-mail.

Within a few days you can retrieve the recovery action on a yellow NS Ticket Machine. The excess amount paid on the balance of your XXImo OV-Chipcard will then be credited. So you or your employer will not get a refund on your bank account, it will be fully credited on your XXImo OV-Chipcard. You can also find the crediting in the transaction overview on ‘My XXImo’ or via Milo.

Check Out Missed Alert

XXImo OV-Chipcard holders can register online for the ‘Outsale Alert’. When XXImo cardholders sign up for this alert, they receive an e-mail with a missed check-out. After missing a check-in or check-out it takes a while before the trip is shown on uitcheckgemist.nl. In most cases, cardholders can request a refund within 14 days. Cardholders who register for this alert, receive an e-mail as soon as a balance can be credited.
