Mobility budget users can now choose the versatile XXImo card
Breda, 9 July 2015 – Leasing company Alphabet and mobility card provider XXImo will today sign a long-term partnership agreement. This means that Alphabet customers will be able to use the XXImo mobility card in the future. Cardholders can use it not only for refuelling and parking, but also to pay for a taxi or even buy airline tickets.
An analysis by Alphabet and XXImo reveals that employees are becoming increasingly open to different forms of mobility. By using the XXImo mobility card, customers can make use of a wide range of mobility-related services, both within Europe and beyond. Users can even book hotels with the card. Anne Brons, Director Marketing & Business Development at Alphabet: ‘The XXImo network seamlessly matches our vision. With XXImo, we can now fine-tune and expand our offer’. Patrick Bunnik, Director at XXImo: ‘We are proud to be able to support Alphabet with the XXImo Platform.’
Alphabet launched the Alphabet mobility budget a year and a half ago. It allows employees to combine different forms of mobility such as car, public transport and bicycle using their own individual budgets. Automated data-sharing minimises the administrative expenses. This makes Alphabet the first party to offer a complete end-to-end solution for businesses. Brons: ‘The mobility budget helps companies cut costs and reduce administrative expenses. Thanks to XXImo’s scale, users benefit from discounts straight away.’
Sustainable transport solution
With the XXImo card, Alphabet customers also opt for a more sustainable transport solution. Thanks to a good public transport promotion programme, use of the XXImo card results in an increase of more than 20% in the share of rail in the total kilometres travelled. Brons: ‘With the mobility budget, we also aim to reduce CO2 emissions – another reason why the XXImo card represents such a good fit with the philosophy behind our mobility budget.’
