10 April 2018

Dutch and Belgian clients get first access

Den Bosch, 17 April 2018 – With the introduction of the Arval Mobility Card, Arval – BNP Paribas’ multinational lease subsidiary – joins forces with XXImo and takes a step toward an integrated mobility policy for its clients. This way, traveling with public transport, taxis, shared cars and bikes, and high-speed trains becomes even more accessible. Together with XXImo, a new platform was developed for planning and paying for a variety of mobility services. The new Arval Mobility Card also offers access to a growing charging location network for electric cars in nine European countries. The introduction of the Arval Mobility Card underlines companies’ growing interest in flexible mobility.

Partner for multimodal mobility
“We’re investing heavily in innovative mobility alternatives,” says Liam Donnelly, general manager of Arval Netherlands. “If you want to be an appealing employer, you need to offer your employees freedom of choice. XXImo’s innovations allow our existing mobility platform Arval Mobility Link to become even more comprehensive in the Netherlands and Belgium, which enables companies to offer their employees even more freedom of choice.” Alain Yvon, general manager of Arval Belgium, continues: “We see XXImo as an important partner to deploy a step-by-step multimodal mobility policy throughout the rest of Europe. The Arval Mobility Card and app, both developed by XXImo, are the perfect tools to organize European business mobility in a more flexible and durable way.”

“Our card offers Arval a single solution that allows it to plan, pay for and process its business mobility,” says Patrick Bunnik, CEO of XXImo. “Arval clients can personally set up which of the available transportation methods each employee is allowed to use, including budget restrictions. This takes place digitally. The hassle of receipts and expense accounts is history.”

With Arval as its new partner, XXImo now has a multinational partner that enables it to expand to other European countries. Bunnik: “A renowned party like Arval, making the combination between its mobility vision and our Mobility Card, is very valuable to us.”

Visa support
The platform is supported by Visa and XXImo’s payment technology. Jean-Marie de Crayencour, Country Manager Belgium-Luxemburg at Visa: “As an international leader in payment technology we’re excited to continue innovating with XXImo and Arval. Together, we’re developed a convenient and reliable payment method that meets the continuously evolving mobility needs of the modern traveler.”
