Den Bosch, 25 January 2016 – XXImo and RAM Mobile Data (RMD) join forces. This partnership makes it possible to combine and exchange data from both companies, giving employers a better understanding of the way vehicles are used.
RAM Mobile Data is active in the field of hosting, network services and fleet management. By linking the information obtained from the systems of RAM Mobile Data to the usage of the XXImo Mobility Card, employers gain a better picture of fuel consumption and the number of kilometres driven by the vehicles. For instance, the mobility platform from RAM Mobile Data makes it possible to see exactly where a car is located when a XXImo Mobility Card is used for parking or refuelling, how much fuel is purchased and how many kilometres have been driven at that point in time. This can prevent abuse.
The data-sharing may be extended with additional capabilities, such as an analysis of driving behaviour, enabling the customer to control maintenance costs. Finally, the data sharing can also be enhanced with a car-sharing module in order to deploy the fleet even more efficiently, with employees being able to reserve, open and pay for vehicles online using the XXImo Mobility Card.
Patrick Bunnik, CEO of XXImo: ‘By linking the data from XXImo and RAM Mobile Data and making it available to firms from a single point, they benefit from increased control and are therefore able to keep a better grip on fuel consumption and kilometrage. As such, this partnership contributes to increased efficiency in car fleet management.’
Joachim Kaarsgaren, Director of RAM Mobile Data: ‘RAM Mobile Data and XXImo complement each other perfectly in the market for innovative mobility solutions. In addition, XXImo services offer a powerful tool for getting to grips with mobility costs and enabling employees to make flexible choices in business travel. This links in very well with the mobility solutions supplied by RAM Mobile Data.’
