Press release: XXImo appoints Marco Nederveen as European Business Development Manager

26 October 2015

Den Bosch, 26 October 2015 – Marco Nederveen will be joining XXImo on 1 November as European Business Development Manager. Marco has previously held various international management positions in the car lease world. Nederveen will become the first point of contact for the further international roll-out of XXImo, the all-in-one mobility solution for business travellers and provider of the XXImo mobility card. The company already operates in the Netherlands and Belgium. XXImo’s aim is to rapidly expand further in Europe, starting in Germany.

Marco Nederveen knows the mobility business from the inside, thanks to his years of experience in various posts in the lease sector in the Netherlands and abroad. He began his career at Auto Lease Holland. After that, his posts included Manager International Sales at ING Car Lease International and Manager International Strategy & Business Development at Alphabet International, the multi-brand lease subsidiary of the BMW Group.  Nederveen was most recently Director Consulting at consultancy firm Frost & Sullivan in London, where he focused particularly on the Automotive & Transportation sector.

‘We are very excited about Marco’s arrival. He has the knowledge and international experience to really put XXImo on the map in Europe and support our international customers in existing markets’, says Patrick Bunnik, CEO of XXImo.

‘XXImo has developed a unique concept that fully caters to what is now going on in the world of mobility’, says Marco Nederveen. ‘I am looking forward to contributing to the international development of the XXImo concept, which has from the start been focused on international expansion.’

About XXImo

XXImo provides a digital platform that makes it possible to plan, administer and pay for all business travel. XXImo focuses on making mobility easy, both for passengers and in terms of the financial handling of all expenses. In addition to refuelling, charging, and parking, the XXImo card offers the option of travelling by public transport, making use of the national taxi service, making hotel and flight reservations and booking conference centres.  All transactions with XXImo are shown on a single itemised summary invoice. Employers can use these invoices for their VAT returns.

Companies using XXImo put together a ‘travel menu’ for each employee, specifying where and for what purpose the XXImo can be used, along with the maximum spend.  XXImo uses the Visa network, enabling worldwide coverage.

The digital platform developed by XXImo is scalable and open and makes the international roll-out of XXImo easy. XXImo has been embraced by major leasing companies that offer the mobility solution to their customers. In Belgium and the Netherlands – the countries in which we operate – we have built a large network of providers which accept XXImo, and the choice of merchants continues to grow.
